The Telangana Road Transport Authority (RTA) handles vehicle registration, fitness certificates, driving licences, and road tax. This page helps you understand which fees apply to your vehicle and how to pay them online without visiting an RTO office.
- Vehicle owners paying annual or lifetime road tax on a new or existing vehicle - Anyone renewing a driving licence or vehicle registration certificate (RC) - Citizens applying for a learner's licence or permanent driving licence - Dealers or buyers transferring vehicle ownership after a sale
1. Visit the official Parivahan (national vehicle/licence portal) or the Telangana RTA portal. 2. Log in or register with your mobile number. 3. Select the service you need: road tax payment, RC renewal, licence renewal, or ownership transfer. 4. Enter your vehicle registration number or driving licence number. 5. The system will calculate the applicable fee. Verify the amount. 6. Pay online using UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking. 7. Download the payment receipt; for physical documents (RC card, DL card), collect from the RTO office or receive by post.
