Traffic Challan Payment
A traffic challan is a fine issued for a traffic rule violation. In Telangana, the Hyderabad Traffic Police and TS Traffic Police issue challans that you can pay online quickly, so you avoid the vehicle being impounded or driving licence being penalised.
- Vehicle owners who have received an SMS or notice about a traffic fine - Drivers who were stopped by a traffic officer and given a physical challan slip - Anyone who wants to check if there are any pending challans on their vehicle - Vehicle sellers or buyers who want to clear all outstanding fines before a transfer
1. Visit the Telangana Traffic Police official portal or the TS Traffic Challan website. 2. Enter your vehicle registration number (e.g., TS 09 AB 1234) and your mobile number. 3. All pending challans associated with your vehicle will be listed with the offence type and fine amount. 4. Select the challan(s) you want to pay. 5. Click **Pay Now** and complete the payment using UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking. 6. Save the online receipt or transaction ID as proof of payment. 7. The challan record is cleared within 2–3 working days after payment.
