GHMC Civic Complaints
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) manages roads, drains, street lights, garbage collection, and other civic services in Hyderabad. You can report problems directly through the GHMC complaint portal or the official mobile app.
- Hyderabad residents who want to report a pothole, broken road, or footpath encroachment - Citizens complaining about garbage not being collected or illegal dumping in their area - Residents reporting a broken street light, open drain, or blocked storm water drain - Anyone who needs to escalate a civic complaint that was not resolved at the ward level
1. Visit the GHMC official website or download the GHMC Hyderabad mobile app. 2. Click **File a Complaint** and log in with your mobile number. 3. Select the complaint category: Road, Drainage, Streetlight, Sanitation, Encroachment, etc. 4. Enter your address or pinpoint the exact location on the map in the app. 5. Describe the problem and attach a photo of the issue if possible. 6. Submit and save your complaint reference number. 7. Track the resolution status online; a field engineer is assigned and must fix the issue within the prescribed SLA (varies by category: 3–15 working days).
