Road & Civic Issue Reporting
Beyond GHMC, Telangana citizens can report road damage, water pipeline leaks, broken traffic signals, and other civic issues through multiple official channels. This page lists the right portals so you reach the correct agency for your problem.
- Residents outside Hyderabad (in towns or villages) facing road, drain, or streetlight problems - Citizens reporting national highway or state highway issues to NHAI or TS Road Development Corporation - Anyone whose local municipality or panchayat is not responding to a civic complaint - Residents who want to report an issue but do not know which agency is responsible
1. Identify which agency owns the road or infrastructure: GHMC (Hyderabad), HMDA (metro fringes), TS Road Development Corporation (state highways), NHAI (national highways), or local municipality / Gram Panchayat. 2. Visit the appropriate portal (links below) or use the CM-Helpline (1100 in Telangana). 3. Select the complaint category and describe the issue with as much detail as possible: location, landmark, and type of damage. 4. Attach a photograph if the app or portal supports it. 5. Submit and save your complaint or ticket number. 6. Follow up using the same number; most agencies have a 7–21 day resolution target. 7. If not resolved, escalate through Prajavani (see Complaints section).
