An income certificate is an official document that states your family's annual income. Government schools, colleges, and welfare schemes use it to decide whether you qualify for fee waivers, reservations, or scholarships.

1. Visit the MeeSeva portal (link below) and create or log in to your account. 2. Search for "Income Certificate" and click **Apply**. 3. Fill in your family details: names, occupation, and estimated annual income. 4. Upload supporting documents: Aadhaar card, ration card, last salary slip or self-declaration of income. 5. Pay the small service fee (usually ₹35–₹45) online. 6. Note your Application Reference Number. 7. Track the status online; download and print the certificate once approved (typically within 7–15 working days).
