Check Your Name in the Voter List
Before every election, checking whether your name is in the current electoral roll saves you from arriving at the polling booth only to find out you are not listed. You can search the voter list online in seconds using your name, Aadhaar, or EPIC number.
- All registered voters who want to confirm their name before an election - Citizens who registered recently and want to verify that their registration was approved - Anyone who suspects their name may have been accidentally removed in a revision - Voters who recently changed address and want to check that their name moved to the correct booth
1. Visit the Voter Helpline Portal (voters.eci.gov.in) or the CEO Telangana portal. 2. Click **Search in Electoral Roll**. 3. Search by one of three methods: - **EPIC Number:** Enter your Voter ID card number. - **Personal Details:** Enter name, date of birth, and assembly constituency. - **Aadhaar Linking:** Some states allow search by Aadhaar (if already linked). 4. Your voter details — name, father/husband name, polling booth, and part number — will appear. 5. If your name is missing, file a fresh registration (Form 6) or a deletion-correction form (Form 8) immediately. 6. Download or print the page as a reference before election day.
