Register as a Voter
Voter registration (Form 6) lets any eligible Indian citizen add their name to the Electoral Roll so they can vote in elections. In Telangana, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO Telangana) manages voter registration. You can apply entirely online.
- Citizens aged 18 or above who have never registered as a voter before - Young people who turned 18 and want to vote in the upcoming election - Citizens who recently moved to a new address in Telangana and need to register there - NRI voters who want to register under their Telangana constituency
1. Visit the Voter Helpline Portal (voters.eci.gov.in) or the CEO Telangana website. 2. Click **Register as New Voter (Form 6)** and log in or create an account with your mobile number. 3. Fill in your personal details: name, date of birth, address, and Aadhaar number. 4. Upload a recent passport-size photograph, age proof (birth certificate or 10th-pass certificate), and address proof (Aadhaar, utility bill, or rental agreement). 5. Submit the form; you will receive an SMS acknowledgement with a reference number. 6. An Electoral Registration Officer or Block Level Officer (BLO) may verify your details at your address. 7. Check the final electoral roll to confirm your name has been added; download your e-EPIC (digital voter ID card).
