Pre-Matric Scholarship
The pre-matric scholarship supports students studying in Classes 1 to 10 from SC, ST, BC, EBC, and minority communities. It covers a portion of tuition fees, maintenance, and other educational costs so that financial hardship does not force students out of school.
- Parents of SC/ST/BC/Minority students studying in Classes 1–10 who need fee support - Hostel-going students in government welfare schools who want to claim maintenance allowance - First-generation learners whose families have no prior scholarship history - Students who applied last year and need to renew their scholarship for the current academic year
1. Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or the Telangana ePass scholarship portal (link below). 2. Register with the student's Aadhaar number and create a login. 3. Select the correct scholarship scheme based on category (SC, ST, BC, Minority, EBC) and school type. 4. Fill in the application: student details, school details, bank account (in student's or parent's name), and family income details. 5. Upload documents: Aadhaar, caste certificate, income certificate, fee receipt from the school, and bank passbook. 6. Submit the application before the last date (usually September–October each year). 7. Track the status online; the scholarship amount is transferred directly to the bank account.
