Skill development programmes in Telangana offer free or subsidised vocational training in trades like electrician, plumber, welder, beautician, IT/computer operator, retail, and many more. The national Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and the state's Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) are the main programmes.

Select the sector (manufacturing, services, IT, healthcare, etc.) and the specific job role you want to train in. 3. Locate a government-empanelled training centre in your area or district. 4. Register online or directly at the training centre with your Aadhaar card and educational certificates. 5. Complete the training programme (duration varies: 2 weeks to 6 months depending on the course). 6. Appear for the skill assessment test conducted by an authorised assessment body. 7. Download or collect your skill certificate after passing; this certificate is recognised by employers across India.
