File an Online FIR / Police Complaint
You can file a First Information Report (FIR) or a non-cognizable (NC) complaint online with Telangana Police without having to visit a police station. Online filing is especially useful for property theft, cybercrime, and other offences where you need a complaint for insurance or legal records.
- Citizens who had a mobile phone, wallet, or vehicle stolen and need an FIR for insurance - Victims of cybercrime (online fraud, phishing, social media abuse) - Anyone threatened, harassed, or facing a nuisance who needs an official record - Residents who cannot physically visit a police station due to distance or disability
1. Visit the Telangana Police official website or the TS ePolice portal (link below). 2. Click **Online FIR / Complaint** and select the type of complaint (theft, cybercrime, harassment, etc.). 3. Log in with your mobile number and OTP (Aadhaar login may also be required). 4. Fill in the complaint form: describe the incident, date, place, and details of the accused if known. 5. Upload any supporting evidence (screenshots, photos, documents) if available. 6. Submit the complaint and download or note your acknowledgement number. 7. Visit the designated police station within the prescribed time if required to complete the FIR formality in person.
