Update Ration Card Details
You can update your existing ration card if you need to add a new family member (newborn, new bride/groom), remove a deceased member, correct a name or date of birth, or change your address. Keeping the ration card updated ensures every eligible member gets their full entitlement.
- Families who want to add a newborn or a newly married family member - Families who need to remove the name of a deceased member - Citizens who shifted to a new address and need to update the residence - Anyone who has a spelling mistake or wrong date of birth on their card
1. Visit the Telangana Civil Supplies portal or your nearest MeeSeva centre. 2. Select the type of update: **Add Member**, **Delete Member**, **Address Change**, or **Name Correction**. 3. Fill in the required details and the reason for the change. 4. Upload supporting documents: - For adding a member: birth certificate or marriage certificate. - For deleting a member: death certificate. - For address change: latest utility bill or Aadhaar with new address. 5. Submit the application and note the reference number. 6. The Civil Supplies Inspector may verify your details through a field visit or Aadhaar-based check. 7. Download the updated ration card once the change is approved (usually 7–15 working days).
